CASE STUDIES IN INSURANCE AND HEALTHCARE LIABILITY

The conference aims to explore, with both a theoretical and practical approach, the main issues relating to healthcare liability, with a particular focus on aspects more closely linked to healthcare personnel insurance and the recent changes introduced by the implementing decrees of the Gelli-Bianco Law.

General objectives of the course:

At the end of the training course, learners will be able to carry out their professional activities with a greater awareness of the most problematic aspects of insurance and medical liability and will be familiar with the most recent case law developments in these areas.

National training objective: Patient safety, risk management and professional liability.

For optional events, you do NOT need to sign in. To get credit for the training hours, just request an optional update.

 

To get ECM credits, each learner must:

- be present for at least 90% of the event.

- complete the Perceived Quality Questionnaire, available at the end of the event in WHR TIME>Training Area>Satisfaction Questionnaire. This must be completed within 14 days of the end of the event

 

- complete and submit the learning test, if required, which will be provided at the end of the event and/or via the link, sending it no later than 72 hours after the event

- complete and submit the Perceived Quality Questionnaire via WHR TIME

 

Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in the non-award of ECM credits.

 

For optional events, you do NOT need to sign in and, in order to have your training hours recognised, you must request an optional update.

ECM CREDITS

The initiative is part of the regional programme for the activation of ECM credits. In order to receive the certificate and the aforementioned credits, participants must attend 90% of the total hours of the course, pass any learning tests, if required, and complete the online Perceived Quality questionnaire within 14 days of the end of the course. The event is part of the Annual Training Plan of the AOU Careggi, Florence.
